For the convenience of their patients, the practice is equipped with comprehensive on-site diagnostics services such as digital X-ray and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA), diagnostic ultrasound, as well as an infusion center. Certified in rheumatic musculoskeletal ultrasonography, Barbara Kage MD, FACR, performs all therapeutic injections.
Dr. Reinhard Kage and his team at Rheumatology and Allergy Institute of Connecticut, LLC diagnose and treat adults and children ages 6 and older with allergic conditions such as hay fever, asthma, food, drug and insect allergies, eczema, hives, and immunodeficiencies. Diagnostic modalities include skin scratch and patch allergy testing, pulmonary function evaluation, oral food, and drug challenges. Allergy desensitization with allergy injections and sublingual immunotherapy, asthma and skin allergy treatments.
